Class 1 & 3 training

Our Class 1 Basic Training program is designed for students that want to learn the basics.This program includes one-on-one driving lessons and pre-trip training. The program gives you the basic knowledge and skills for driving a truck.

Okanagan Valley Driving School’s Class 1 Basic Training course includes:

• 16 hours of Air Brake theory.
• 28 hours of practical on-the-road city lessons.
• Use of our truck for your ICBC road test.*

• 16 hours of Air Brake theory.
• 44 hours of practical on-the-road lessons which include:
  • Practical on-the-road lesson through the city and region (Okanagan).
  • Backing up training.
  • Use of our truck for your ICBC road test.*

Okanagan Valley Driving School Class 1 Gold Training course includes:

• 16 hours of Air Brake theory.
• 72 hours of practical on-the-road lessons which include:
  • Practical on-the-road lessons through the city and Coquihalla Pass.
  • Backing up training.
  • Chain up training.
  • Load securement training.
  • Use of our truck for your ICBC road test.*

Our Class 1 Platinum Training program is designed for students that want to become the ultimate professional experienced driver through our driving school. With the enrollment of this program, we will provide Job Placement Assistance. This program includes one-on-one driving lessons and pre-trip training. The program gives you the skills to be fully prepared and ready to work confidently in the industry.

Okanagan Valley Driving School Class 1 Platinum Training course includes:

• 16 hours of Air Brake theory.
• 120 hours of practical on-the-road lessons which include:
  • Practical on-the-road lessons through the city and highest passes in BC.
  • Backing up training.
  • Chain up training.
  • Load securement training.
  • Use of our truck for your ICBC road test.*

Our Class 3 Standard Training program is designed for students that are wanting to learn how to operate a Class 3 truck. This program includes one-on-one driving lessons and pre-trip training. The program gives you the basic knowledge and skills for driving a truck.

• 16 hours of Air Brake Theory.
• 18 hours of practical on-the-road lessons.
